More awesome news coming out of the great state of Texas, with Australian punter Michael Dickson committing to the Longhorns.

Dickson is another product of Prokick Australia, with Prokick director Nathan Chapman heaping praise on his latest charge to get a chance at NCAA level in the US. “Michael has a powerful leg. He can move left and right and kick it out of the back of end zones. He’s a solid athletic unit who can run all day and pass any endurance test. And of course, he has a cracking right foot.”

Chapman now has an amazing record of putting punters and kickers into the NCAA, and we are even starting to see players from his academy break through into the NFL, with Jordan Berry (at the Steelers) and Tom Hornsey (at the Cowboys) both currently on NFL rosters.

Not only that but Chapman’s guys can flat out play, with the last two Ray Guy Award winners (best college punter) being Prokick alumni Tom Hackett (2014, Utah) and Tom Hornsey (2013, Memphis).

At this rate, it would appear to me that we will be watching Prokick punters in the NCAA and the NFL for a very long time.
