Adam Gotsis had one of the best game of his career at Georgia Tech last weekend against Tulane. After a dominant performance on the interior of the line, defensive tackle Gotsis was named the team’s defensive player of the week for his play in the Yellow Jackets’ massive 65-10 win over the Green Wave on Saturday.

Gotsis out of Gridiron Victoria recorded career-high-tying six tackles with one sack and two tackles for loss living up to the pre-season hype, he got the Jackets off to a fast start, registering his sack on the game’s first play and Tech never slowed down.

In the pre-season Gotsis was named to the 2015 All-ACC Preseason Team at defensive tackle, the performance on the weekend is starting to validate this selection.

The Jackets will need another big effort from the Gotsis and the entire defense, next Saturday, when they hit the road for the first time, travelling to South Bend for a matchup with No. 9 Notre Dame.

Enjoy the scoring highlights from the Georgia Tech win over Tulane.

Big Weekend for Adam Gotsis
