Australian punter Mitchell Wishnowsky has some pretty big shoes to fill as he commits to the University of Utah to follow graduating punter Tom Hackett.

Utah punter Hackett is the most decorated Australian punter winning the Ray Guy Award twice, being named an All-American twice and being named to the Pac-12 All Century team as the punter.

Hailing from Perth in Western Australia, Wishnowsky played at Santa Barbara City before committing to the Utes after visiting with Hackett and the special teams coaching staff. Like Hackett before him Mitch Wishnowsky is a product of the Pro Kick Australia Academy headed up by Nathan Chapman, who is doing a fantastic job of putting players into the college football system.

Utah announced the commit on their Twitter page

During the 2015 season Wishnowsky played for Santa Barbara City and had 63 punts for 2509 yards with 30 inside 20s.
