At the conclusion of the 2017 Junior AGL, Luke Chapman the Head Coach of the Junior Outback Team announced his selections for the squad to play in the 2017 IFAF Oceania Qualification Tournament. The Qualification Tournament will be held in August with the winner qualifying for the 2018 Under 19 World Championships.
IFAF have recently revealed the application process for counties to host the 2018 Under 19 World Championships, applications will close on the 1st of September and a decision will be made no later than September 15th. With this information, we would expect an announcement sometime before Christmas.
Besides Australia, the other members of IFAF Oceania Federation are American Samoa, New Zealand & Tonga but we will have to wait and see which member nations decide to enter a team.
