The Hogs responded on their first drive, with an Olsson rush, before recovering the kickoff the following play. Finishing the short drive with a Valles rush, as he continues to impact the competition on both sides of the ball. The Hogs took a lead they would never relinquish.
After a conservative first half, Adelaide opened the third quarter floodgates with three consecutive passing scores, Welbourn hitting Valles once and Builder twice. Holding a 33-7 lead Adelaide subbed heavily the remainder of the quarter.
Caputo hit Thorpe for a 27-yard TD one the first play of the 4th, immediately followed by an Olsson fake punt, resulting in a 65-yard TD, ending the contest. Both sided added scores late in the 4th, Rech and Benjamin respectively.
Adelaide University already heavy with offensive talent, welcomed Jos Builder back into the rotation. Their offence proving too strong throughout Friday Night Lights.
