Gridiron Victoria kicks off the 2016 seasons across Australia with its Junior competition which opened last Saturday and Sunday.
Gridiron Victoria has re-aligned all of the competitions for 2016, moving the Juniors and Womens season to the start of the year and pushing back the mens competition about 6 weeks from the old starting point of the first weekend in May.
The 2016 junior season has eights teams and here are he week one results:
Saturday 20th February – DR Atkinson Reserve, Argyle Street Reservoir

Sunday 21st February – Sydney Pargeter Reserve, Power Road Endeavour Hills (Google Map)
| 10:00am | J – Pakenham Silverbacks drew Croydon Rangers | 14-14 |
| 2:00pm | J – Monash Warriors def. Berwick Miners | 50-0 |
