UPDATE : Jesse Williams was placed on the reserve/non-football illness list by the Seahawks as they announced the final 53 man roster.
Original Story below
The final 53 man rosters have not all been named but the fate of the 6 Australians who entered training camp appear to be known.
The San Francisco 49ers have cut their roster down to the 53 and Rugby League convert Jarryd Hayne has made the roster. I know the people at Fox Sports Australia are more excited that Hayne is lets just hope their reporting evens out a little over the season.
IT ALWAYS WORKS OUT! I thank GOD for WHAT HE has done and going to do on this incredible journey!! I’m on the 53 MAN ROSTER FOR THE #49ers.

Jordan Berry has won the punting job in Pittsburg but it was not all bad news to Brad Wing who Berry beat out for the job. Wing was traded to the New York Giants who cut 9 year punter Steve Weatherford to save about $2.2 mil in cap space. Brad Wing will now be the Giants punter making him one of the 3 Australians we will see in the NFL this season. Jesse Williams of the Seahawks and David Yankey of the Vikings have not been cut by their teams but there are many reports that they will be when the final 53 man rosters are announced by the teams. Williams tweeted the following and many outlets are reporting that he will be cut.
Appreciated Every Moment. https://t.co/83ATe7aqga — Jesse Williams (@ThaMonstar) September 4, 2015
Yankey had had great opportunity to show what he has got during training camp due to injuries on the Vikings offensive line but could not secure a roster spot. The official word will come down soon but Pro Football Focus had Yankey rated as one of the lowest linemen in the NFL during the pre-season which would not have helped his chances.
When the Dallas Cowboys made the first round of cuts to get to 75 limit punter Tom Hornesy was let go, lets hope he get another chance somewhere else in the NFL.
