The Australian Gridiron League (AGL) will crown the 2016 champion this weekend with the winner of the WA Raiders and QLD Sundevils game to become champion. Both teams have defeated New South Wales and South Australia by similar margins clearing showing they are the best two teams in the competition.
Queensland will have the home field advantage as Western Australia go on the road for the first time in the tournament.

The second game of the day in the Women’s AGL will be a dead rubber between host QLD Sundevils and NSW Coyotes, after the womens Sundevils won the first two match ups against NSW in the last two weeks to secure the WAGL championship.
