The Arizona Cardinals drafted six players last week and had agreed to terms with 16 undrafted free agents, leaving them with more players than they had room for on their 90-man roster.To make room for the new players the Cardinals made some cuts and one of those three was Australia Joel Wilkinson.
Three of the players the Cardinals cut were defensive backs and one of those three was Australia Joel Wilkinson. NFL teams have to be under the 90 man limit for the start of Rookie mini camp starting this weekend.
This is disappointing news for Wilkinson as he did not even make it to mini camp to show the Cardinals what he has got, we hope to see him get another shot with the Cardinals or another NFL team.
This now leaves 8 Australian players currently on NFL rosters who will head into mini camp this weekend.
