Australia in its first appearance in the IFAF Under 19 World Championships have put a beat down on the host nation China, to the tune of 72-0.
Australia scored early and often against a Chinese team who really looked like they did not belong on the international stage, the only thing to slow Australia down was a lightning delay after the Outback had gone up 14-0.
The Outback had outstanding players all over the field one of the stand outs was running back James Thornhill who finished the day with 3 touchdowns.

The next games in the championship will be played today (Thursday) when Mexico play Canada in the early game and Austria will take on the defending champs the USA in the late game.
Australia will next be in action against Japan on Saturday afternoon at 5pm (AET).
