The Australian Outback Men’s Development squad will depart for Tahiti tomorrow morning for two matches in the coming weeks.
A trip that was announced back in December last year will see the development squad play two matches against:
- July 27th – Australia Vs American Samoa @ 7pm local, kick off
- July 30th – Australia Vs Tahiti @ 6pm local, kick off
Tahiti will also play American Samoa on the 23rd of July so the Australian’s will get a look at both teams before that will face off against them both at the Stade Pater Stadium, which multi-use stadium in Pirae, Tahiti.
There is a three team competition in Tahiti mad up of Ono Football US, Toa Oviri of Excelsior, and Manu Ura Football US. The three teams play in a championship season called the Heiva Bowl Championship, there have been 7 Heiva Bowls.
