Come the end of week 12 the playoff picture is becoming very clear in division one and division two. Thanks to a victory over the Predators this week the Monash Warriors are the division one Minor Premiers along with the undefended Pakenham Silverbacks in division two.
The finals are all locked up in Division two with the Silverbacks, Dragons, Barbarians and Raiders are all headed to the playoffs. In Division one the Warriors, Crusaders and Rangers have all locked up finals spots but the last playoff spot will go to the winner of the Buccaneers and the Royals in the last game of the season at Parkville.
During the week Gridiron Victoria announced that the semi finals will be played at Heatherbrae Reserve, Arena Parade in Officer on October 8th and 9th. Division one will be played on Saturday the 8th of October and division two will be played on the 9th of October. In both divisions it’s 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3 with the winners facing off for a title at Lakeside Stadium in Albert Park on Sunday 16th October.
Congratulations to Gridiron Down Under’s own Daniel Noonan who played his 150th game for the Geelong Buccaneers who he lead to a 1 point victory over the Croydon Rangers.
