On Saturday Gridiron NSW held its championship games and in the Waratah Bowl the Sydney Uni Lions were going for an unprecedented 13 championships in a row against the West Sydney Pirates.

The Pirates competed hard with the Lions but could not find a way to win as the Lions made it 13 in a row thanks to a 36 – 18  victory. The Lions had lost 3 Waratah Bowls before going on their incredible run and it is hard to see the winning coming to and end any time soon.
