The Australian pipeline to the USA appears to be as strong as ever with Max Hendrie the latest commit to a div 1 school.

As reported by the Star Advertiser Max Hendrie has committed to the University of Hawaii as an athlete which is exciting for a non punter to be making it over to the USA.

Australian former Hawaii player Paul Manera said in the report “Hendrie is 6 feet 4, 245 pounds and capable of running 40 yards in 4.53 seconds.” He went on to say “Hendrie is capable of playing defensive end, linebacker, tight end, offensive lineman or running back in short-yardage situations.”

Hendrie who is experienced in rugby and football, is expected to sign a letter of intent with the Warriors on Feb. 3, the first day of the NCAA signing period.

We are extremely excited to see what Hendrie can do at Hawaii and wish him all the best for the 2016 season and we hope to see him in action in the game against Cal in Sydney in August.
