As I was scrolling through Facebook I came across the new page which manage to catch my attention through the rubbish I normally see on Facebook named the Hunter Gridiron League.
The description of the page is as follows:

We made contact with the HGL to ask them a few questions starting with “How long has this been in the works?”
“It has been a brain child of a few of the committee members (of the Newcastle Cobras) for some time and we have been working on securing funds to get the comp off the ground and ensure we have enough people with experience in order to support the comp and the teams” said Lee a representative of the Hunter Gridiron League.
The teams will be based in a central location to play games, the Newcastle Cobras will not be able to enter a team so they can’t dominate the competition and to improve the overall enjoyment for all players.
