Friday night lights at Victoria Park saw a 2015 Great Southern Bowl rematch UniSA Eagles (3-0) and Adelaide University (2-0)

This was the match of the season so far as both teams slugged it out in tough conditions. With both teams looking to protect the ball in soggy conditions, a quick first half saw neither team take a stranglehold on the contest.

Adelaide Uni managed to take the early lead through Cecil Buckskin, however turned the ball over twice in the red zone in the second quarter to keep the contest close. UniSA have been solid on offence, creating a few drives of note but simply can’t get to the redzone and the Hogs went into the half leading 7-0.

A second half surge from Lewis Wyten and UniSA’s defence saw the Eagles almost snatch the game away however, AU on the back of a dominant rushing display from Cecil Buckskin remained composed and remained undefeated taking out a 21-20 win.
