With time running out, I have put together a very quick prediction piece for the coming weekend. As I type, there is an under 16’s game in progress at Ranger Field.

Under 16’s

Croydon Rangers 30 V Western Crusaders 30

Haven’t seen scores but predicting a draw.

South Eastern Predators 0 V Geelong Buccaneers 28

Should a nice enjoyable drive home for the Bucs after their victory.

Under 19’s

Croydon Rangers 34 Melbourne Uni Royals 6

A knee injury to their QB and best playmaker will spell disaster for the Royals. Rangers should get revenge for the first meeting and win quite easily.

South Eastern Predators 8 V Geelong Buccaneers 32

Geelong just seem to be the better rounded team at this stage of the season. The Predators need to score more points than they have if they wan to get the win.

DIVISION 2

Northern Raiders FORFEIT V Western Crusaders

Unfortunately the Raiders have had to pull out of the game tomorrow.

DIVISION 1

Western Crusaders 24 V Melbourne Uni Royals 6

As I have said previously, the Royals need to find another option besides Jacob Kerin. The run game also needs a major boost. The run D will face their toughest task this week. Can the Crusaders recover from last weeks wake up call?

Croydon Rangers 24 V Warriors Gridiron 16

Should be another close battle like week 1 but much easier on the eyes. Both teams playing much better. Luke Jackson will be the key to the Warriors chances here. Rangers have had issues stopping the run.

South Eastern Predators 8 V Geelong Buccaneers 22

Should be win number 2 for the Buccaneers over the Preds. The Predators have been in games but unable to finish them off strong. Can’t see them winning this one….but I’ve been wrong before. Many many times before.
