The Annual General meeting for Gridiron Australia will be held at 8pm (AEST) on Tuesday, 23 May 2023 via videoconference.
In accordance with its Constitution, the business to be conducted at the AGM is to inform GA Members of the current strategic priorities and to receive and consider the Annual Financial Report, report on the Annual activities, and conduct elections for two Director positions on the GA Board.
Nominations for Director Roles are now open. If you think you have what it takes to help get American Football back where it belongs in this country then I encourage applicants to submit their resume, cover letter to the Gridiron Australia board.

The Elected Directors will fill two positions on the GA Board with terms of office expiring at the 2026 AGM.
Following the conclusion of the AGM, the GA Board of Directors will meet to elect the Chair of GA, which is a requirement each year following the AGM under Gridiron Australia’s Constitution.
We have thrown our fair share of shade at GA over the years and coming off an extremally disappointing result in the nationals being cancelled, the GA board now gear up for the new calendar scheduling.
I feel the member states 2023 seasons is a real test for the current board most of whom joined the board in 2022. Last year was a clean up year where just getting the ship pointed in the right direction was a hard task.
We now wait to see what 2023 will hold for Gridiron in this country. I, for one hope we see the sport start to succeed and grow and am very interested in what will be presented to members at the AGM.
