Later today the Junior Australian Outback will take on the Austrian National team in a battle for 5th place in the 2016 IFAF Under 19 World Championships in Harbin, China.

Australia is coming into the game with a 2-1 record which on paper looks good but the two victories were against a very inexperienced host nation China (72-0 & 74-0), the loss was against a very good Japan team who won the match up 42-0

The Austrian team is coming into the match up with a 0-2 record with loses to the USA 65-14 in its first game and Mexico 46-7 in the second. The Austrian team will be a tough match-up for the Australians despite the fact they are winless in the tournament.

Austria has managed to score 3 touchdowns in its games and the Australia could not find the end zone against Japan the only real test the Aussies have had, with that in mind the Austrians will be desperate to finish the tournament with a win and I will predict a 32-14 win for the Austrians.
