Gridiron Victoria is at the pointy end of the season and there is only one playoff spot left up for grabs in division one. Next week the Geelong Buccaneers fresh off a bye will take on the Melbourne Uni Royals for the final spot in the 2016 playoffs. When the two teams met earlier in the year in Geelong the Buccaneers took out a close game  26-20 this time, the Royals will have the home field advantage.

In division two the Silverbacks locked up the top stop some weeks ago and on the weekend the Dragons locked themselves into second spot but we will have to wait until this weekend to find out who will play who in the semi finals.

It will be the final game of the regular season 2:30pm on Sunday before we will know the semi final match ups in division one. Below is what we do know will take place in the playoffs after the AFL Grand Final week off.
