The 2017 IFAF Women’s World Championship will be held in Langley outside Vancouver, Canada during June and July of next year. The two previous championships have been held in Sweden and Finland with the USA winning both championships over Canada.

Australia will be entering the IFAF Women’s World Championships for the first time, the program was started back in January 2016 with an invitational camp held in Queensland. From this squad selected players were invited to attend the upcoming camp in January, with additional invitees added to the squad. From this camp, the Australian coaches will select the team who will be travelling to Canada in 2017.

Big thanks to our correspondent in Queensland for letting us know the exciting news about the upcoming tournament. We expect IFAF to get around to making an announcement in their normal time frames.

Good luck to all the ladies taking part in the camp in January. If you need new equipment for the camp or the trip be sure to check out our shop.
