The Gridiron NSW State Challenge came to an end on Friday with the Queensland Sundevils being the stand out team in both the mens and under 20 competition.
The ACT Monarchs played both QLD and NSW at the state challenge but lost both match ups. The SA Sharks did not take part in the State Challenge but they will take on the Monarchs in a one of match today at Greenway Oval, Canberra.
Looking at the strengths of the two competitions I would have to think the Sharks would go in as the favorites but a one off game at home and with two games leading in, it would not be a stretch to see the Monarchs take out a win.

The game will kick off at noon today at Greenway Oval in Greenway, Canberra. It will be a free event for everyone who can sit in the grandstand and the canteen will be open if you have the munchies.
