Saturday in Brisbane will see the 2016 Sunbowl contested and the Stingrays have the opportunity to do what no other have done, win all three competitions two years in a row.
This would seem to me the most likely result to me as all three of the Gold Coast teams are undefeated in the Gridiron Queensland league in 2016 even if the womens team did have a tie. The Stingrays mens team is looking to win its 9th title in the last ten years and their 13th all time.
The Stingrays are one of the strongest clubs in the country and it would be an amazing accomplishment if they were to secure the triple crown in back to back seasons.
